Life in college. It's pretty crazy, even though I live at home. But I love it. and it has bequeathed me with some knowledges. Here they are.

The 10 things I learned my first month of College:

1) Concept Retention: Unlike high school, falling asleep on your textbook and hoping to learn by osmosis isn't gonna cut it.

-Oddly enough, we actually theorized if this could really be possible. Needless to say, it's a work in progress...

2) Undeniable Truth: No matter how many times you try to rub a lamp to get three wishes, pay someone else to do it, or attempt to sell your soul to the devil, your homework will still be sitting there at 11:30 at night, unfinished.

-As I have learned, homework is so evil even the devil won't touch it.

3) Perspective: Sometimes it's ok to just take a 4.5 out of 10 on a low weighted homework assignment instead of ending up in the state hospital.

-I mowed the lawn for the state hospital. I've seen what happens. not pretty.

4) Procrastination: If you're not procrastinating your homework and hanging out with friends instead in college, you better be a graduate student or something.

-As Calvin and Hobbes always said, "leaving my homework till the last minute teaches me important life lessons."
"Such as?"
"Procrastination and Rationalization."

5) Organization: A way for college kids to fit more crap into less time.

-Blindly scheduling 7 time consuming events in addition to school and studying before the hours of 5 PM is not wise. Note to self: find a personal assistant/ paper planner.

6) Balance:Too much studying=boring, bland and socially inept.

-life is really REALLY boring when you don't live on campus with your friends, and don't have an all sports pass. can't wait for winter semester...

7) Reality Check: College=busy

- homework isn't all I have to do on a given night. I still have to fix a computer, get my clothes ready for an interview, fufill my calling, help around the house where I can and I have a job. Livin' it up Right?

8) Rationalization: Facebook is of Satan.

-I get on to type a paper or look at a syllabus, and I always end up there. It's the slippery slope of time wasting. "I'll only be on for a second... haha funny cats... shut up no one likes drama... Holy Cow! 3 hours?!?"

-it's totally true. I can't focus on homework or anything until I've eaten. It's ridiculous how much I spend because I forget to bring food from home too. Anyone wanna open a Macey's in my backpack?

10) Sleep: The old addage holds true. You have three options, Sleep, Good Grades, and a Social Life; chose two.

-I actually had to give myself a curfew to get my friends (who aren't going to college, they don't understand yet) out of my house so I can get sleep!

I am going to start blogging about the zombie apocalypse. more importantly what I will be doing to prepare and what my plans are. Just FWI. if interested, take a look, you might go buy some ammo or venus fly traps or something.Camcorderhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16253755175707370161noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7036901341078818367.post-28640714134742226332010-03-12T13:00:00.001-08:002010-03-12T13:07:18.948-08:00Tis the season! So this years rugby season offically kicks off tomorrow. I can't wait im so excited!! I'm sure someone out there is thinking, "Holy cow turds!! this guy is friggin crazy!! why does he want to go out to a big field full of polynesians and get the living crap beaten out of him over and over again?" well the answer to that is this: "because my whole team does it too. you can't enjoy getting beaten to a bloody pulp unless you enjoy it with your fellow teenagers who also delight in such a pass time :). but if anybody is interested, guys or gals, send me a message or txt me or something, no matter how old you are, and ill hook you up. even if you only wanna watch. It's an excellently refined and skill-requiring game thats intense. so intense, you might just wet yourself on the sidelines. so come watch us make fools of ourselves. :)Camcorderhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16253755175707370161noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7036901341078818367.post-14392403451242012852010-02-08T21:36:00.000-08:002010-02-08T21:49:14.742-08:00Ode to the busy life... i want OUT!So. Basically I've been so busy between rugby and school and trying (emphasis on the trying part) to have a social life, move on from some old flairs, and keep myself committed to trying to get one girl(I finally realized that girls aren't like pokemon. theres no guy that uses the phrase "gotta catch 'em all" and still have friends of the opposite gender. hey, thats a corny metaphor. i might use that. quick. copyright it.) that i haven't had time to blog. so sorry. life just decided that it would be funny to see me juggle 60 different things at a time.
And, on top of everything, Valentines day is this weekend. While I am in Vegas for a rugby tournament. Now don't get me wrong, nothin' wrong with Vegas, or rugby, But for most teenagers, Valentines day is actually Happy-singles-awareness-day-you're-too-lame-to-have-a-special-someone Day. That's why they say it sucks to be single on Valentines Day. So Bah Lovebug. Ebaneezer Scrooge isn't pumped for valentines day. at least i got to spend it with someone last year. this year its just depressing, ill tell you what.
Anyway, there is a girl that I have been working on, but I'm not sure if it'll ever go anywhere. shes a great chicka, but shes like 8 months older than me. age isn't the problem, but she'll go off to college next year, leaving me, whether we actually get together or not, completely clueless. Then after that, my "old flair" will be spending the summer in our pleasant little town of ze 801 area. talk about conflict. not to mention getting good grades (which some the last little while are struggling..) playing and exercising hard, finishing up this byu class, staying on top of homework, doing church stuff, and trying to get closer to sum womans. oh well. can't wait till next year. itll all be soooo easy. just college classes and orchestra. cant wait. ttyl ya'll.Camcorderhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16253755175707370161noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7036901341078818367.post-52306705640354603442009-09-20T21:42:00.000-07:002009-09-20T22:06:09.176-07:00It's Quote Day!!Ok. so i decided that this blog will be my favoritest quotes and maybe some commentary.

#1
"Never interrupt your enemy when he is making a mistake."
~Napoleon Bonaparte~
- I totally agree with this. last night when seth was going to fold in indian poker and mary went to stop him, i told seth it was totally his choice. the man folded with an ace of spades.

#2 "I once heard two ladies going on and on about the pains of childbirth and how men don't seem to know what real pain is. I asked if either of them ever got themselves caught in a zipper."
~Emo Phillips~
-Seriously though, do you know how much that hurts? honestly, i think that and passing a kidney stone are comparable, becuase seriously, with the kidney stone, same concept. like trying to push a car out of a pinhole.

#3 "Now they show you how detergents take out bloodstains, a pretty violent image there. I think if you've got a T-shirt with a bloodstain all over it, maybe laundry isn't your biggest problem. Maybe you should grab a best friend and get rid of the body before you do the wash."
~Jerry Sienfeld~
-I love how all industries make a product that aids in crime. so pathetic. a similar quote goes: "a good friend will take you to the hospital after a painful stunt. a best friend will be sitting next to you in the same condition, saying "boy, did we screw up.""

and now for random lyrics: We're having a heatwave, a tropical heatwave. The temperature's rising, it isn't surprising, She certainly can can-can.Camcorderhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16253755175707370161noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7036901341078818367.post-45106689622292164892009-09-15T20:11:00.000-07:002009-09-15T20:22:16.678-07:00Yummyaight. so today, I had mutual at six instead of seven. the reason was that i had planned to have a dutch oven dinner for our priest quorum. It turned out to be a sucess! granted, there were only four priests including me and then our leader, but still, it was great! first we had sausage with sauted onions and peppers, in a suprisingly scrumptious barbeque-grape-jam sauce. I was completely taken by surprise when my priests advisor added this to the mix. however, it was the equivilent of a kind of sweet and sour sauce taste. And how it ticked my taste buds. (tickle my taste buds? oh what a terrible phrase, however true!) Then we baked some butt-kickin' bisquits, and to top it all off, a deliciously prepared blueberry peach cobbler! And the best part was I brought it home because it was cooked in our dutch oven, and i got to share it with my family!!! :D
I can't wait to cook in that thing again!!!! I'm a pro and all, so it would be fantastic!!!Camcorderhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16253755175707370161noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7036901341078818367.post-90097225075312170292009-09-12T09:02:00.000-07:002009-09-12T09:07:25.598-07:00Well...Ok. So I really wanna play rugby again. BUT I have sooooo much to do!!! Saturday morning is the only free time basically I have, and I have almost spent it all at a rugby game. :( not sad bout the game, but that I could only stay for the first 10 minutes of the game. I can't wait till next season... And don't worry, I'll have pictures. :)Camcorderhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16253755175707370161noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7036901341078818367.post-83110653016182684552009-09-10T21:10:00.000-07:002009-09-10T21:18:02.041-07:00This is sweet sweet survival...Ok. so today during our physics lab, Alex, Brian, Skylar and I were working on our velocity graph (and we are all geniuses of course) so we finished early. alex was handy with his ibook, and we entertained ourselves. He's a computer genius (like i said we are all geniuses) and works with the district for programming, so he wrote some code that allowed him to get to youtube to download this video file. its great.

... I will never hesitate to eat one again.

... the friend you can eat...

oh and i found that now youtube lets you customize a few things when you embed, so i picked a color at random..Camcorderhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16253755175707370161noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7036901341078818367.post-15150829640867026702009-09-07T19:56:00.000-07:002009-09-07T20:35:29.288-07:00Events of the day of mine of confusion.. Yeah...Well Today.
Of all things today.
School was out for today. quite nice, quite nice.
I camped out back and had a fire. Very enjoyable. reminds me, i need to get myself a woman. jeez.. i really am going nuts. how is that gonna solve my current problems?
I got up and put flags out for our ward. that kinda sucked, but it got me up, and i laughed my head off when andrew almost hit a deaf child at play sign in his huge van. priceless.
I got to make and eat swedish pancakes and mountainman breakfast. plus strawberries and whip cream and various other fruits. oh divine food for the gods!
Then Brian came over. we all talked politics for a while. Then guitar hero, movies, and pool what a day.
Then flags again, where i miraculously put the van in gear, and didn't turn it on. i had to stop and put it in park before i could drive it. i call it genius. my dad called it brain damage when i got home.
Anyway, that was my day. quite exciting...Camcorderhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16253755175707370161noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7036901341078818367.post-18366658868857081352009-08-31T20:54:00.000-07:002009-08-31T21:30:56.927-07:00My fav 5.. even better than t-mobile ;D1. Favorite Color?
- I would have to say that my Favorite color is going to be blue. but i love a good ol' silver matte. mostly for the cars. but the blue, there are sooo many reasons why. the sky is blue, all through the day, and all through the night. the water is blue, and blue just has that feeling of soaring away above all the commotion, free.
2. Favorite Car?
- Oh.. I'm torn. My Dream Car is this:
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 213px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg_hVGY70ezQP3L2KRjvKN4xEU9_KxPVZNkwD0G0AALUiRUiVOf23t_s4B0sT-DeS-EQPcWb7r0c5RdiwVg39CQeonGmwor47orOJze3ZaY4Dfh9M9sQxVUwSoedtYfYKv4RTp5fnH8Q1A/s320/lamborghini-estoque1.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5376343926345616162" />
It's called a Lamborghini Estoque, a concept car that has the bad-a**-on-the-block look. not only is it smaller and not as boxy as the normal lamborgini, it's not a coupe, but a 4 door.
And this beaut:
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 196px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjndjZMUQUruead2bXw3rroco57kadtY-pkhePG_VS40kAw8j8p-9_jEAdJOjUwEVWmsdrnrp9qsLhbXa9ztDkzw78qBSP8j9nduhvDb8ammXDAh6NOqHM7OH1V8iO_wytsMs7ZrPRbMuk/s320/ChevroletCamaroConceptBumbleBeeJada%5B1%5D.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5376347803597534418" />
this is a sexy muscley classic. oh, that engine purrs...
And this:
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 168px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhQklWGqowmQ8p3mxSd7-lVXPphqw0IpLqfESH0QBRvC9aWtLie9cJhNHMaXmhag1I4DTOGZ5d2bJayhJtm0CRgzE_eEkUDKBVjLSF6yvhFB5MSIxBwstpWGt2DiQVsNOV7oHMd-V3_TEU/s320/2011-audi-a8-preview_100191264_m%5B1%5D.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5376349199853806050" />
The 2011 Audi A8. a sexy, and rather fast car. my aunt just gotta a kick a** audi a6 and it's only a 2001. think of the improvement in 10 years.. XD

3. Favorite Activities?
- I'd have to say rock climbing, ice climbing, rapelling, rugby, playing and listening to music, bugging my brothers, rocking out in the car, dancing at random intervals, owning people with my jedi master/undercover ninja skills, playing with lightsabers, talking through fans, having food fights.. you know, normal mature teenager stuff..

4. Favorite Song?
- Oh I have many, and they stretch all through the genres, anything from Boccherini's 4th Movement Allergro in D, to People are Crazy, to the used and the eagles, to In the Mood by the Little Big Band (Which I was a part of) Eminem, Akon, Anybody pretty much. If it's in my itumes, chances are i like it a lot.

5. Favorite place to be?
- Hmm... Idk, anywhere im comfortable, especially the mountains or anywhere in the wilderness basically. I hope my spouse loves to spend time outdoors and camp. cause we will be going on campouts as much as we can manage. There's just a stillness that I can't describe when I'm out there, away from all the hustle and bustle, where I know i can break it with my loud voice and laughs, and someone truly enjoying themselves can too.Camcorderhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16253755175707370161noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7036901341078818367.post-29614772110419590192009-08-28T16:34:00.000-07:002009-08-28T16:49:37.841-07:00My Random 1,2,3...1. Well, I have decided that I'm a genius. In the last month, I've managed to Rear End someone in provo, Drop my phone in water, and for the fender bender recieve a $120 ticket. on top of that, I have to pay the $250 deductible to fix our car, and at least another $70 dollars for the increase in insurance rates. Joy. I'm pretty sure that someone up top has it in for me, ya know?
2. this recent week, i have been completely exhausted. so exhausted that this afternoon i actually took a nap. I TOOK A NAP. THAT NEVER HAPPENS. The combination of me and brian when we are both exhausted is even better. we're the kinda people that turn everything into a joke when we've reached that point. and we are also the kinda people that would laugh at someone dropping a cookie at 3 in the morning.
3. My inherent action of pushing peoples buttons and doing things just to mess with peoples heads, and my randomness, has passed onto my siblings, and I must say, they have done quite well observing. granted, they are in the presence of a master. :) you should admire my awesome ability for humility. hey, that rhymes. :)Camcorderhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16253755175707370161noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7036901341078818367.post-55820987922747976502009-08-26T22:18:00.000-07:002009-08-26T22:34:27.627-07:00This too shall pass... like a kidney stone...Today I made a decision that I was hoping I would never have to make. Today, I quit orchestra. It feels like I'm leaving a part of myself behind, 4 years of hard work and long practicing. I made it to the highest group. If the circumstances were different, I might be able to make it work. But alas, they are not. 4 years of working my butt off to reach the coveted title of being in CHAMBER orchestra are gone. I can at least say I made it in I guess.
My mother understood, seeing as I have in equivilence 7 college classes this semester, plus who knows how many more next semester. But everyone else is giving me grief. Yes, I am quitting orchestra, but I plan on returning next year, and I refuse to quit cello after all I've accomplished. Music has and always will be a part of me i can't slough. Everything is music, so I'm not abandoning or wasting my talent. So don't give me grief, don't tell me not to do it, Because it's already done. This is probably my most serious post, and really I just needed to vent. Really, my posts are quite antic.
ANYWAY, on a happier note, my mother borrowed a book from our library. It was called Wizards and Witches. When i returned from my first aid class tonight, i read it to her. here are 3 things i learned from that book:

1. Most characters described in the book ended up getting high at some point, probably from smoking opium, or as my first aid instructor calls them, "recreational drugs of great interest".
2. Druids, followers of nature, were a peaceful people, but they made ritual human sacrafices. Probably sacrificed the extroverts, i think.
3. From what I can tell in the pictures in the book, wizards liked to experiment with cats. So whenever I say "Oh! Look! It's a buttercat! in an odd english accent, i am talking about a white and black spotted tabby with wings all the colors of the rainbow.Camcorderhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16253755175707370161noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7036901341078818367.post-3540894212991451022009-08-21T21:47:00.000-07:002009-09-07T19:52:28.581-07:0050 questions. not 20.I found this on a website. i rather enjoy answering these things. pretty cool i think. so 50 questions. here we go.

1. What is your best friend's Mom's name? Um.. Susan... Why you wanna know? ;)

2. Where is the weirdest place you have a mole? Um... i only have moles im my scalp so my scalp. oh. creepy. not.

3. Who was the hottest teacher you ever had? uh... i kinda have a teacher reading this... but if i have to pick one, id say miss mortensen in 6th grade. she was a sub, and had great legs and a great behind, and all the kids in my class where having fantasties since she was only like 20 and single. am i aloud to think this at that age? 11?

4. Have you ever made out in a movie theater? Nope, I am not paying $7 to not watch the movie when I can not pay $7 to not watch a movie at home.

5. What body part do you wash first? My hair

6. Do you hover over the toilet in public bathrooms? ...what? like hang around it? not personally but im sure the druggies do.

7. Original-- or the chili cheese ones.

10. Have you ever been tied up? Do you want to be? I've been tied up by my sib all my life, and I don't want to be tied up. I don't see a need for me to be restrained. unless an extremely beautiful woman enters the room, in which case we need chains.

11. What was the last thing you ever got grounded for? I left rugby practice early cause the season was over and i thought practice was pointless. turns out it was a scouting practice, and the BYU coaches were training us. And, my dad showed up to help coach. i lost phone, friend, and car privileges for a week. i had my license and phone a week prior.

12. Do you parallel park or drive around the block? I'd rather find a better spot, seeing as i am a good driver who's brain will screw up just for the irony, but i will try on occasion.

13. Have you ever had two dates in one night? Well.. Something tells me I wouldn't get very many guys in a gay bar... at least, not the kind that want to date me.

18. Girls-- are very good looking, but very emotional, confusing, mind boggling, etc. trying to please a girl or trying to figure them out or get a girlfriend is completely driving me nuts!

19. Is there one thing all of your love interests have had in common? Actually yes. Unintentionally, all the girls i have liked or like or have dated have all been dancers. cloggers, ballerinas, hip hop, ballroom, etc. i honestly don't try to get dancers at all. i just must attract them.

20. Did you French kiss before you were 16? nuuuppe! VL!

21. Have you ever been cow-tipping or snipe-hunting? yes. i send people on snipe-hunts often. mostly at work.

22. Who is the last person you usually think about before you fall asleep? Family, friends, closer friends... depends on the day.

23. Have you ever had a poem or a song written about you? Definitely!

24. If you had to choose to not ever wash your bed sheets again or not wash your bath towel ever again, which would you rather not wash? I'd rather not wash my bath towel, but I do think either one of those would result in some nastiness of the worst kind. Who came up with that question?

25. Have you ever found anything in your parents' bedroom that was questionable? not questionable, but unbeknowst.

26. What was your childhood nickname? I refuse to disclose this information.

27. When is the last time you played the air guitar? bout 3 hours ago

28. Have you ever peeked in the opposite sexes locker room? When working out at the gym, do you wear a belt? only when i do squats. not. i don't life enough to need one.

33. Name something you do when you're alone that you wouldn't do in front of others. Pretty much nothing. i do all activites equally. i am not activityist.

36. Babe, i already brought sexy back! and it left when it saw me cause it knew it couldnt compete ;D

well that went pretty well.Camcorderhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16253755175707370161noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7036901341078818367.post-56351396044919003282009-06-21T23:37:00.000-07:002009-06-21T23:57:34.245-07:00something just completly amazing :Dok so probably the best thing in my life happened since i blogged last. yes, i did find some of my childhood toys while cleaning out our downstairs, but thats not it. I TURNED 16!!! AHHHH!!!! WHOOP WHOOP!! OH YEAH!! and with this momentous occasion, came three freakin--awesome-amazing-totally-spectablulous things.
1. i got my license. oh yeah! free to cruise where ever i desire!!! and when i feel like a coke, i get a coke. ah. a new era has arrived. it's called the carson-never-has-to-feel-like-refreshing-beverages-are-out-of-the-question era. ah. sweet freedom. not to mention its summmer, so i just plain feel happier.
2. i got a cell phone!!!! OMFG!!! i was sooooo happy. now i can become a true teenager. :D i have plenty of numbers, about half of which are women. ;) so now i have unlimited txting, dont know how that worked out to be honest. but i can tell you, i have a cool phone, so its all good. i don't go over minutes, i can txt whenever i want, and not get in trouble. i love it.
3. i can date. OH YEAH!! women are no longer just an exhibit. i can hit on someone and not feel like its premature. :) by the way, my first date was last night. note to self, if your going on a date, go somewhere close so you can walk, or drive illegally. when you get your license now, you have to wait six months to drive with anyone other than immediate family or someone over twenty-one. when you show up to a girls house, and you show up with your mom in the drivers seat, not too impressing. not to mention a little weird. we went to trafalga to mini golf, then coldstones, then home for a movie. not only was it odd to have my mom pick us up and drive us to coldstones, but then my dad was there for the movie, and when we dropped our dates off. i have nothing personal against my parents, but how weird.
oh and whats with girls always buying the smallest size in dessert or dinner? honestly, do you think we're broke? we bring money so that you can get what you want. not what saves us money. if we wanted that, we wouldn't have been at coldstone. we'd have been at mickey d's getting 79 cent cones. in some ways, its almost an insult to the guys pride, like we're protrayed as the guy who is stingy on a date. so what have we learned in this post?

1. Carson is back in black, indestructible, and currently single :)
2. he can drive, has a friggin awesome touch phone, and
3. wishes girls would just get what they feel like, not what is cheapest. although i may have blogged about it, it really doesnt bug me. it just came to mind and stayed for more than 10 minutes so it was blogged. peace out.Camcorderhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16253755175707370161noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7036901341078818367.post-40927901303352692302009-03-02T14:58:00.000-08:002009-03-02T15:18:28.225-08:00EVEN MO' Randomness.yo. my list of randomness

1. i like being individual. i'm the kinda person that sings and dances in the rain, or won't care what others think of what i do or say.
2. when people are condecending to me, i get angry very fast. when they're sarcastic, i know it and don't react. but when you've got a friggin amazing brain like this, its a serious insult.
3. I WANNA CELL PHONE!! REALLL BADDD!!
4. i cannot and will not, LISTEN to adults who when i ask why they are making me do something, "Because I said so." or "Because I'm the Adult." Well. I personally think we can't trust adults since they commit murder and bank heists and tax fraud.
--REMINDER-- TAX SEASON IS HERE! PAY YOUR TAXES!!--
5. "To be old and wise, you must first be young and stupid." I literally LIVE by this saying, so don't be surprised.
6. in my professional opinion, Women follow no sense of logic whatsoever. being a very strictly logic person, that confounds me. however, they are very pretty. ;)

and my smart alek quote for today:
"if i cared about what you were talking at me, wouldn't i have responded?"Camcorderhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16253755175707370161noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7036901341078818367.post-87813164338717999592009-02-10T19:51:00.000-08:002009-02-10T20:13:37.629-08:00MORE randomness..So here's a list of the amazing and yet stressful things in my life right now:
1. Rugby season is starting in less than 3 weeks. I have three weeks to prepare my self to let others beat the crap out of me while I'm running.
2. Midterm is this friday, which means i have a little over half of a term to fix the many and I say MANY screw ups on my part in my grades.
3. My birthday is in less than three months! a yay for the fact that im sixteen, and can drive, but that also means that I'm going to be on the road continually chaufeuring (I know its not spelled right, but I'm in one of those rebellious moods.-Cause spelling something wrong is sooo rebellious.)
4. I will also offically on May the 2nd, be able to date. thats right. I'm on the market in 72 days, so ladies, mark your calendars. BUT at the same time, on the night of my b day, IS PROM!! not a lotta notice if u know what i mean. I haven't decided whether or not to go, since the girl I like won't be old enough till next prom. Don't get me wrong, i'm pretty sure I could get a date, but do i really want to?
5. i've got to sign up for classes soon, and pretty much my career hangs in the balance since I've got to schedule so many college classes. and the homework for those... NASTY!
6. I NEED A NEW JOB! mine doesn't pay enough for the time i spends there and the weekend is the worst time of the week to work if you're trying to have a social life.
7. I've got to actually think about what i'm saying now. I can't just say any old thing. I've got to look for hidden meanings, reversing phrases, and lots of things that are over my head that I will never understand. The change that is causing this is that now, I've got friends that are actually girls. Up till bout two years ago, I was a sincere believer that girls have cooties. and the only girl i talked to on a regular basis was sidney merryweather, who is kinda like an older sister to me, so i don't know if that actually counts. (Beleive it or not, I was socially messed up for a while.)

ANYWAY..
8.I have no idea what to do for valentines day. when ur little, things are so much easier. the only thing you gotta worry about is that the cards your mom gives you are cool like spongebob or powerrangers or TMNT. but now you have to worry about all sorts of drama that i find almost matches sitcoms on tv.

wow. that felt good. now I think i can walk around the halls at school without ripping off my shirt and pants and turning into tarzan with ice climbers boxers.

I told you it was random...Camcorderhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16253755175707370161noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7036901341078818367.post-76063234088657382282009-01-22T14:22:00.000-08:002009-01-22T15:06:21.526-08:00Randomness... I guess..I have terrible news. MY ITOUCH IS CRACKED!!!!! AAHHHHHH!!!!!

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEggq9Oa3ola4WO2pAhfMtkya7znYGorcXizU_mw5KtNWMy6NR8VT0-B6pWMQBW5vgGkcUDZNDgS1H1rvgfZaF4GbYK8h7WPW3-eHOKtYZqykniTDNUZB3w0vJOmxjtE-ubNTLzyYewblgQ/s320/DSC09572.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5294250088150945234" />

TRAGEDY HAS STRUCK!!!

my life is inhibited!! not really. here's what happened.
I had it at school, which my parents already pointed out was a "Error in judgement" but this would've happened whether I was home or not. But I was wearing BASKETBALL SHORTS which most of you know have no pockets. So I put it on my hip on the waist band. normally this keeps it secure enough so that you only have to check it rarely. but it was to heavy and I got up and it fell and landed back on the screen. OUCH!! and the worst part is that i can fix it, but it'll cost $200. $200?!?!? THATS ALMOST AS MUCH AS THE IPOD ITSELF!!! So anyway, i gotta live with it till it breaks bummer. but on the bright side, i got tonz of stuff for christmas. but nothing on my list i think. but i've reached that age where it really doesn't matter what i get. it's the thought that counts. needless to say, i got stuff that I need and appreciate. for instance, a helmet hat for under climbing helmets during ice climbing. it looks kinda gay, which is what I said when I first saw it, but dang, THAT THING IS WARM!! or sweats, or my awesome star wars pc games, socks, boxers. and to top it all off, the girl i like was down here till bout christmas eve, so life is awesome. not to mention that someone is friends with her on myspace!!! Oh Snappy!!

and now for a memorable quotes;
Never take life seriously. Nobody gets out alive anyway.
Last night I lay in bed looking up at the stars in the sky and I thought to myself, where the heck is the ceiling?
Energizer Bunny arrested, charged with battery.
Gene Police: You!! Snow- I LOVE SNOW!! Snow makes me feel like I'm back home in PA.
2. this email will sum up #2.

Once a Pennsylvanian, ALWAYS a Pennsylvanian!
About Pennsylvanians:
You've never referred to Philadelphia as anything
but 'Philly' and New Jersey has always been ' Jersey '
You refer to Pennsylvania as 'PA' (pronounced Pee-ay). How many other states do that?
'You guys' is a perfectly acceptable reference to
a group of men and women
You know how to respond to the question 'Djeetyet?'
(Did you eat yet?)
You learned to pronounce Bryn Mawr, Wilkes-Barre ,
Schuylkill, the Pocono's, Tamaqua, Tunkannock, Bala
Cynwyd, Duquesne and Monongahela.
And we know Lancaster is pronounced Lank aster,
not Lan kaster.
You know what a 'Mummer' is, and are disappointed
if you can't catch at least highlights of the parade.
You know what 'Punxsutawney Phil' is, and what it means if he sees his shadow.
The first day of buck and the first day of doe season are school holidays.
At least five people on your block have electric 'candles' in all or most of their windows all year long.
You know what a 'State Store' is, and your out-of-state friends find it incredulous that you can't purchase liquor at the mini-mart.
Words like 'hoagie,' 'crick,' 'chipped ham,' 'dippy eggs',
'sticky buns,' 'shoo-fly pie,' 'lemon sponge pie', pierogies' and 'pocketbook' actually mean something to you.
That's PA slang for purse!
You can eat cold pizza (even for breakfast) and know
others who do the same. Those from NY find this 'barbaric.'
You not only have heard of Birch Beer, but you know it comes in several colors.
You know the difference between a cheese steak and
a pizza steak sandwich, and know that you can't get a really good one outside PA,
except Atlantic City on the boardwalk.
You live for summer, when street and county fairs
signal the beginning of funnel cake season.
You know that Blue Ball, Intercourse, Paradise , Climax, Bird-in-Hand, Beaver, Moon, Virginville, Mars, and Slippery Rock are PA towns. (and the first three were consecutive stops on the Reading RR).
You know what a township, borough, and commonwealth is.
You can identify drivers from New York , New Jersey , Maryland or other neighboring states by their unique and irritating driving habits.
A traffic jam is 10 cars waiting to pass a horse-drawn carriage on the highway in Lancaster County.
You know several people who have hit deer more than once.
You carry jumper cables in your car and your female passengers know how to use them.
Driving is always better in winter because the potholes are filled with snow.
As a kid you built snow forts and leaf piles that were taller than you were.
You know beer doesn't grow in a garden but you know where to find a beer garden.
You also know someone who lives 'down the lane'.
You actually understand all this and send it on to other Pennsylvanians or former Pennsylvanians!
YEAH! THAT'S 'PA' AND WE LOVE IT
And send it to people that never lived in PA and confuse Them Because Nice Matters

(If you really didn't get all of that from the paragraph above, then come and see me.. cause seriously, you gotta work on reading comp. skills)

3. POWERADE!!!
4 MY ITOUCH!!
5. GUMMY FROGS!
6. BOSTON!!!
7. JOURNEY!! (I grew up in an 80s music house... the flame of ROCK is still burning..)
8. TRANSFORMERS THE MOVIE SCORE!!! cello solos in that are amazing, especially track 12, arrival to earth (just listen to the preview on itunes..)
9. MUSIC IN GENERAL- the world should just be music. everything in this world, every emotion and phrase and meaning ever possible can be described by a well written song. I am always tapping a rythmn or song. I can't imagine a world without music.
10. cello- i am in love with my cello. think of Eragon the book. dragon and rider. they are connected to each other. i don't know what I would do if I lost my cello. i would probably feel empty for the rest of my life.
(Gosh I feel like I'm almost on the verge of pouring out my soul. But trust me, you'll know when I do. it'll be way deeper, and WAY longer.

7 DAYS TILL CHRISTMAS!!!! YAY!!!Camcorderhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16253755175707370161noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7036901341078818367.post-49057669666500600532008-12-08T13:55:00.000-08:002008-12-08T14:12:23.325-08:00Friday Night.. bummer...So this last friday night went like this:
1. I got home from school and practiced cello from the time I got home until about 5:30.
2. I then had to go to a Ward Christmas Party I was torn about attending.
3. The Reason I wanted to stay home was because I had to play a piece during the Program on my cello. ( Probably the worst place to play. In a concert, about one twelths of the people there know who you are, and about one twelvths of that group know you personally. In your ward, everyone and I repeat EVERYONE knows you personally. So if you mess up, EVERYONE KNOWS!)
4. the reason that I wanted to go is that the person (otherwise referred to as third party) that I like and really wanted to see, had a chance of showing up.
5. said person then did not show up, and I was followed around by several nerds, (Not Brian).
6. I still had to play in the program, and because several people canceled, besides the primary, I WAS THE PROGRAM!
7. I had an opportunity to go see twilight.(AND I NEVER READ THE BOOK)Thinking that since third party was not there, and my closest homies were unable to hit the town, I took the oppurtunity. what a mistake. I went to see a chick flick without a date. muy grande problemo. I wish I had my itouch, because everytime I looked at the screen I got bored, and everytime that I looked over, the couple that was next to me (and also in the group I went with) was making out, and I was quite disturbed.

So I'm waiting till I'm 16 and I have a date to see another movie like that.Camcorderhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16253755175707370161noreply@blogger.com4tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7036901341078818367.post-54772906927767287662008-12-02T21:33:00.000-08:002008-12-02T21:37:04.531-08:00Tis the SeasonSeeing as it is the season of snow, I thought I should give you a little taste of what Snowmen will be like this year in our yard. Calvin and Hobbes are my inspiration, and they are a classic.
Enjoy!

(Just click on the picture to see it bigger)

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 86px; height: 320px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgnjKklLErXcwmGTrHXKmdhDqYThyphenhyphen9eyQBxvOGTHGraMsr_ahqqtBbVvAZLOcr_tsvU7ImkV3vlHNVjdG_VfedPOH5w_mZ4c4CB1JUOIgr_C-Gio1PymZpSrX8JuCuDF1Bq9IqAnfIW0Do/s320/snowmen%5B1%5D.gif" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5275433486906082722" />Camcorderhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16253755175707370161noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7036901341078818367.post-8128723645793936222008-11-30T20:51:00.000-08:002008-11-30T21:12:25.196-08:0025 days till christmas!!Yay!!! Vientecinco dias hasta Navidad! (for all of you nonbiligual pupils, 25 days until christmas!) so, I made a christmas list.
1...

Ok. So I really don't know what to ask for this year. I wanted an itouch, but I just bought one.My mom keeps getting frustrated with me because I won't give her an answer. I just am very content right now. (Well, as content as adults. there are many things I would love to have ig. An enduro motorcycle, a lamborgini Embalago, a girlfriend. But I realize that, as the prophets say, this shall not come to pass, lest I smite ye with a curse. And, if all of these things happened, life would be fair, and lets face it, is that gonna happen?)So as far as Gifts are concerned (If I get any) I can't get any of the presents that I REALLY WANT this year.

so here is a more realistic list. (Please feel free to give me multiples of each thing on this list.)

1. Gummi Frogs- Haribro 5 lbs bag
2.Moolah/Dinero/Bank/Green/Benjamins/Clams/Smackers/Greenbacks/Loot/Dough/Cold Hard Cash- Gotta save for a mission, a house, School, my motor vehicles, kids, retirement...
3. Powerade, either mix or bottled
4. Itunes gift card- got apps?
5. mint chocolate chip cookies
6. Coldstones Ice Cream
7. some computer gameCamcorderhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16253755175707370161noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7036901341078818367.post-19423870077216356562008-11-27T19:50:00.000-08:002008-11-27T19:57:03.219-08:00ThanksgivingYeah, I know I normally put a list up, but it's thanksgiving. you should spend it with ya family. so go eat some pie!

<img style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 167px; height: 320px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgCMYuUJE93vZYoIcHMOZm6PzYBEpxEzG3bf_zmW09_lnhLSjfIq7hVBnaHj3VZL648CB6uKSOVl70rUB1TFFL3gp2V_FdWz6OofcnjwgFIOwz_Y-wzTU01b6deuWkVHHtoxUR44jqLvU8/s320/image001%5B1%5D.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5273552015849640530" />

If you want to see it bigger just click on it!Camcorderhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16253755175707370161noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7036901341078818367.post-88261634570096062062008-11-20T19:26:00.000-08:002008-11-20T19:45:07.651-08:00Thursday List #3Alright blog stalkers, (if there are any left, no one ever comments, :^[ ) so here is the thursday list. yep.

My weaknesses

1. powerade- yeah i know, kinda weird, but there is just something about a drink that is like weak sauce gatorade.
2. Haribro gummy frogs- yeah, but I like almost any gummy candy. heres a little something for all of you looking. I am easily suckered into babysitting for a bottle of fruit punch powerade, and a package of gummy frogs. Yep. that's gonna bite me in the butt.

A short list, but still a list. there are other weaknesses, but if I reveal them, I would blow my cover as a secret ninja operative...Camcorderhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16253755175707370161noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7036901341078818367.post-85375808600448591002008-11-18T14:33:00.000-08:002008-11-18T14:48:10.300-08:00You think you're stupid? If you think you have ______ moments, they are really Carson moments. Let me tell ya. I LOCKED MYSELF IN THE FOOD STORAGE, AND THE DOOR DOESN'T EVEN HAVE A LOCK! I know! Seriously. So here is the story.
Yesterday, after my mom got home with the groceries, She was feeling sick, so she asked me to put them away. No hassle. I got a system. It works, until someone else puts food away, then it gets all messed up. ANYWAY, the canned foods are always last. So I go downstairs and I am putting them in, and I was playing with a Bungee cord. I put it across from where the bolt should be to the opposite wall (don't tell me what a dumb nincompoop I am. I was working on an ingenious auto door closer) So I walked in. My idea worked, and even when the door was left open, the door would automatically close. so I put away the cans like normal. But what I hadn't realized is that I pushed it so far that the door closed all they way (It was a prototype) and the very edge (The metal hook) had latched to the edge of the door. My experiment proved to be a disaster. It then became a lock. And guess who was on the other side of the door? No one!!! They all thought that when I was yelling for help, I was just trying to play a joke. I was in there for 15 minutes before my baby sister, bless her soul, went and got Nathan. He thought I was joking even when he saw it, so he didn't believe me at first. But, eventually he let me out.

So ya. And the moral of the story is, If you are going to test an experiment, do it on a sibling.Camcorderhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16253755175707370161noreply@blogger.com2
